Dragonfire Campaign Reset: What Resets and Carries Over?

At the end of a Reign, temporary world and campaign progress resets, including Dragon Reign Levels and Stronghold upgrades. Dragons, Star Rank, Habits, Dragonfire Keys and several permanent resources carry over according to official support. Wyrmwise's reset action only changes saved Dragon Levels; it keeps saved Stars and Habits.

Campaign Goal rewards and Stage rewards have different deadlines

For Faction and Personal Campaign Goal rewards, reach Stronghold Tier 10 before the Reign ends. Eligible rewards arrive in your mail at the start of the next Campaign. Stage rewards follow a separate instruction: claim them before the current Campaign finishes.

These are the requirements in the official Campaign guide. Do not interpret the Stage claiming deadline as the delivery date for Campaign Goal rewards. Check both reward screens when preparing for a transition.

Reign and Campaign are connected but different

The official Campaign guide describes a Reign as the wider seasonal arc and a Campaign as its story and objectives. Both are expected to last around eight weeks, although current in-game timing should be treated as the source of truth for your World.

When the Campaign ends, the game moves the World into a new Reign and may place it into a different Campaign. World transitions can also combine Worlds. Do not assume another player's transition date applies to yours.

What official support says resets

The current official list includes Dragon Reign Level, House XP, Stronghold upgrades, owned tiles, territory influence, Meat, Resolve and the main gathered resources: Food, Wood, Stone and Iron.

That is a list of temporary in-game progress. It is not an instruction to delete your dragons or rebuild your persistent collection. The official FAQ and Campaign guide should be checked again near a transition because the publisher says the lists may change.

What carries into the next Reign

Official support currently identifies your dragons, their Star Ranks and Habits as durable. Gold, Dragon Eggs, Dragonfire Keys, Dragon Relics and several long-term upgrade materials also remain.

The practical distinction is useful: Stars and Habits describe lasting dragon development; Reign Level describes temporary progress inside the current cycle. The Star-rank guide explains why a persistent Habit unlock may still matter after Levels reset.

What to check before the transition

  1. Confirm your World's actual Campaign end time in game.
  2. Claim visible Stage rewards before the Campaign ends; official support says unclaimed Stage rewards do not transfer.
  3. Check the current official reset list rather than relying on an old screenshot.
  4. Record your lasting Stars and Habits so your next-Reign roster is easy to restore.

What New Campaign Reset does in Wyrmwise

Wyrmwise cannot reset the game. Its New Campaign Reset action changes only the roster data saved in Wyrmwise: every recorded Dragon Level returns to 1, while Star Rank and Habit levels remain unchanged.

Strategic recommendations assume Vanguard roles are available, so resetting only Levels does not change the recommended formations or Habit advice. Your existing setup confirmation remains valid. It does not change billing, delete dragons or alter your in-game account.
