Tairax combines Fire damage and Stagger with later payoffs against controlled enemies. Burn also creates chances to protect an ally, but neither Fire damage nor Slow should be substituted for the specific statuses his effects require.

Burning Ward attempts Stagger on odd rounds and deals Fire damage with a Burn chance on rounds 2, 5 and 8. Six-Star Gleamstrike improves Stagger activation and adds Fire attacks against Stun, Stagger, Overwhelm or Confusion.

Hunter's Wrath
From Dragon Level 16 in Vanguard, improves personal Fire damage and gives Strength and Initiative to the right-flank ally.
